Welcome to 2017

Welcome to the new year!  We hope that you had a wonderful and restful holiday season, and we look forward to working with you all in 2017.  We're gearing up for another year of working with YOU - our fundraisers, donors, Racers, sponsors, and supporters - to raise money and invest in programs providing education, screening, treatment, and research so that we can one day fulfill our vision of a world without breast cancer.

During 2017, Komen as a national organization will celebrate it's 35th year as the leading organization in the fight against breast cancer, and with that will come new and exciting programs, breakthroughs, and announcements.  Stay tuned for exciting things to come!

Fast Fact

Did You Know Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is a rare, but aggressive form of locally advanced breast cancer.  About 1-5 percent of breast cancers are IBC.  Find more information here.

Research Spotlight

Komen recently released a new tool on its website that makes it easier for individuals living with metastatic breast cancer to identify clinical trials that they may be eligible to join.  The tool was developed by Komen partner BreastCancerTrials.org, and is available here.
